ABOUT THE BOOK
The Great Gourmet Gala Heist is a lighthearted, funny YA mystery with real emotional heart!
During the prestigious Great Gourmet Gala at Dall's Gourmet, Chef Dall's million-dollar recipe vanishes without a trace. With scarce evidence and mounting suspicion, detectives Holmes and Sheryl Lock must uncover the truth, interrogating key suspects to crack the case of the Great Gourmet Gala heist.
As the pressure mounts, the home life of the legendary detective family begins to unravel. Sheryl Lock is desperate to step out from the looming shadow of her father, Chief Wendell Holmes, as she finds herself intrigued with a smooth-talking, charming suspect, testing her strictly-professional boundaries.
With the Holmes family fracturing under a silent, mysterious strain and the clues pointing to no one, the ultimate betrayal is hiding in plain sight.
